Bibione's beach has always been chosen by tourists from all over Europe as a favorite destination for their summer holidays.
To make it such a popular beach are its large size, the widely spaced umbrellas, the quality of its blue flag waters, the first aid points and since last year also because it is the first smoke-free beach in Italy.
This year a new challenge has been added, that of being able to guarantee even more space for each tourist. Waiting official directives from the authorities, Bibione has already started to work on creating a different beach that can guarantee a new living space, with dimensions that can reach - depending on the area - an area of up to 54 square meters for each individual beach place, surrounded by greenery.
A real open-air apartment with all the comforts of all time, especially for children: nursery where breastfeeding and changing babies, pediatric and dermatologist service, plants and elements of greenery that add up to the large pine forest that embraces the whole coast.
Instead of the approximately 18 thousand colored umbrellas that are usually used, only 7 thousand will be used, in order to guarantee the social distances that will be expressed by the authorities.
From this week, work has started on the coast and by 30th May the entire beach will be ready and the final effect can be assessed pending the first tourists, who hopefully will start arriving as soon as the restrictions have eased.
New paths will be integrated that will allow tourists to reach the sea avoiding crowds as well as new sanitization procedures on the beach with daily interventions on equipment, umbrellas, bathrooms and closed spaces such as ticket offices.
